Sneaky Sneaky

I was sitting at the kitchen table and I heard William playing in the pantry. He likes to close himself in there sometimes... I don't know why. All of a sudden, I heard the pantry door slam and then little feet RUNNING to the bedroom and this is what I found.

Prayer 101

First of all, I would like to share that we went and saw the Twilight movie this morning at 12:15. I won't go into detail about it, but I will say that I liked it. There were cheesy parts to it, but if you've seen the trailers, no surprise there. It actually was so much better than I had anticipated. It was a lot of fun and we got to make fun of a few people who dressed up. -Yeah. Hilarious.

So, now that I have that off my chest, I would like to share a story. Yes, as the title indicates, it's about prayer. Matt and I have been working with William and praying. He's talking more and understanding more and he'll repeat practically everything someone says. The other day, I was helping him pray over dinner. A portion went something like this:

Me: We
Will: We

Me: Thank
Will: Thank

Me: Thee
Will: Thee

Me: For
Will: Five

I had to take a little break from our prayer to cover my mouth and chuckle a little bit. Let this be a reminder to all of you that we need to count our blessings. (Talk about cheesy, but I couldn't help myself.)

Hats Off to You

Lily (the little girl who won't leave a hair bow in her hair to save my life, yeah, that one) has come up with different head pieces herself. She loves to wear hats or different things around the house on her head. She's a funny one. The picture above is of her wearing Matt's beanie from Madera Mill.
Her t-shirt
Another one of Matt's hats
This invention here is beautiful. She reminds me of like an olden day knight. Camelot. Camelot. Camelot. This is her shirt and Will's golf hat.
Two of Matt's beanies
This treasure is one of the sides of a circle that you put shapes in. Don't ask me how she balances that thing on her head.

Something He Misses

This was the last time that Will went golfing with Papa in Tennessee. I found these while I was browsing through my pictures and thought that I would share. This is definitely something he misses.

A Sugar Plum Fairy, Golfin' Halloween

The week before Halloween was a disaster! William got a stomach bug. He vomited throughout a night and then he was pretty sad for a day or two. When we got over it, we finished putting Will's Halloween costume together for the ward trunk or treat. Matt got home from work and it turns out that he had to work a LONG day on Saturday (the same day as the trunk or treat ofcourse). So, just me and the kiddos. Oh wait, Lily started to vomit on Saturday morning. It's been a crazy crazy couple of weeks, and I'm glad that they are over and I can start new!
Since we missed our ward's trunk or treat, we went to Matt's family's ward Halloween Party. The first few pictures are from that party. William dressed up as a golfer. - cutest golfer around if you ask me. Lily was the Sugar Plum Fairy. Her shoes are the greatest. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures!! Happy belated Halloween!

Here are almost all of the grandchildren on Matt's side of the family. We went trick or treating in the Townsend's neighborhood with all of the kids. It was a lof of fun. Obviously, Will didn't think so in the beginning, but he got used to it and was saying "Trick-or-Treat" at every door. What a simple thing to do for a treasure so great!

I don't even remember what he was sad about. But, man was he distraught.
Lily looks so pretty as a fairy! Even with her wilted wings.
After all the trick or treating was said and done, the Pages came over. We had to take pictures of all the kids together. Raven was Strawberry Shortcake's Cat. Tessa was a Herbie racer. Carrie made these costumes too. She's so stinkin awesome!

Here is a picture that I didn't mean to put up with this post, but as it already is up... I'm just leaving it. I put up our family picture that we took when I was pregnant with William on our refridgerator. Every now and then, William will go and point to everyone and say names and say hi and that he loves you all. Not only do Matt and I miss you all in Tennesee, Will and Lily do too.
