I was super excited to find a movie from the library that I loved watching as a child today. (My Turn On Earth). I popped it in and started boiling the water for the mac and cheese I was making for dinner. Matthew was protesting this movie as it is not up to par with what he is used to. (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.. Are you kidding?)
Anyway, Matthew asked if I wanted him to put the macaroni in the boiling water. After I said yes, he asked how much. Now, I'm kind of getting to the point in my cooking where I just throw stuff into whatever. No measurements. So I told him to put enough in to have the water cover it.
Not what he heard over the song "Everybody Ought to have a Body" ringing through our house.
He poured some pasta into the water and started cutting up cheese to put into it. (Isn't he dreamy?) I walked over to the pasta to see how it was doing and see the picture above. That's just the noodles and the water, people.
After finding out that he thought I said, "make sure the water is covered" I transferred the pasta into another pot. One that my mom would probably use when all the family was coming over for family dinner...

Nathan would've done the same thing. For some reason anything that has to boil on the stove top suddenly renders him a complete hopeless idiot. I do love him, though. This is hilarious. Good job Matt, good job.
