A couple of weeks ago, we had a week of water fun! On Tuesday, we were invited to go to the splash pad with Krystin and her boys and Keaven also came with the little boy she watches (her girls were in dance camp). The kids all had a blast running around, but were careful not to get the water in their faces.
Then, on Thursday, we were invited (along with John and Krystin) to go swimming at Christopher and Keaven's apartment. We got the kids some floaties and...
William had a bast! Who would have thought?? I haven't taken my children swimming in a while, so it was a true shock to see that William was being so brave and loving being in the water and jumping in the pool.
But, Lily...
couldn't get enough security from floatation devices.
She hated being in the water by herself. She was okay as long as she was holding some one's hand. We are determined to help her so she doesn't develop the fear of water that I have.
Surprising, right?

I LOVED this post! That picture of Lily is priceless! And such a cute swimming suit for her! Miss you like crazy...
Yes! Surprising indeed! You'll have to tell Lily Pie that her floaties match Tessa's too! I miss these kids.
We loved having y'all over for some swimming fun. Want to do it again this Thursday? Summers almost over and we have to get in as much as we can before they close the pool. Y'all are welcome over whenever!
i have wanted to come to the smyrna water park forEVER but still haven't done it. evan would love, love, love, love it! we took our kids to my brother in laws family's community pool on saturday. evan was totally jumping off the sides into the water. he was loving it!! he had an awesome floatation device and as i was way too excited to go in a pool myself, i wasn't able to take any pictures like your awesome self! ;) next time. c.g.'s too little so she just enjoyed being held though i will say she did try multiple times to sort of jump in out of my arms. fearless. scary! (i should just copy and paste this NOVEL to my blog to document this. lol)
